We have an ambitious growth agenda and are rapidly growing our team across UK, Europe, US and APAC. We are seeking talented and highly skilled Director-level consultants to join our team and support us to expand our impact in the Private Equity (PE) sector. You will be working closely with Alysian leaders, PE Operating Partners, and the CIOs/IT Leadership teams at portfolio companies to execute transformative IT-enabled value creation strategies.

CONTEXT ON ROLE

As Alysian grows, we are implementing world-class HR technology to support our global workforce. The HRIS Specialist will play a critical role in managing and optimising our HR systems, ensuring seamless integration across processes such as talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning, and analytics. This role requires a blend of technical HRIS expertise, process improvement skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams globally.

  • Consistently seeks and drives solutions that deliver value aligned with Private Equity expectations — recognizing that these priorities may differ from long-term business goals, as PE ownership may focus on rapid, short-term improvements that enhance sale value
  • Comfortable challenging established thinking and influencing stakeholders at all levels by presenting alternative solutions supported with robust financial, operational, and technical justifications

QUALIFICATION

  • 10-15 years of experience in HRIS and payroll consulting, preferably in M&A or transformation contexts
  • Proven expertise in tools like SAP SuccessFactors, or Workday
  • Strong understanding of payroll, compliance, global mobility, and benefits administration (including outsourced payroll providers)
  • Strong Extensive understanding of key HR processes, e.g. HML, Learning, Leave Management, etc.
  • Experience in post-merger HR integration and TSA management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; MBA preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead HRIS system assessments, integration and payroll harmonization across acquired entities
  • Partner with larger Tech M&A teams to assess system compatibility and data migration strategies
  • Design scalable workflows for employee data management, compliance, and reporting
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure payroll accuracy and statutory alignment
  • Suggest/ Drive automation and analytics in HR operations for clients using platforms like Zoho, SAP SuccessFactors, Monday, or Workday etc.
  • Support TSA exit planning and Day 1 readiness for HR systems
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops to define future-state HRIS architecture
  • Develop dashboards for headcount, cost-to-hire, and payroll forecasting
  • Implement and optimise ATS for scalable, data-driven hiring, ensuring seamless integration with HRIS and payroll

PE Experience:

Good to have Private Equity expertise

  • Experience in large or mid-cap PEs either as an investment or operating professional, consultant in the PE sector or role in a PE-backed company.
  • Experience in large-cap PE houses e.g. Blackstone, Carlyle, Warburg, CVC, EQT, KKR would be a strong asset.
