HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for workers, staff, and managerial positions
• Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements
• Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and oversee onboarding
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs

2. HR Operations

• Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management
• Ensure timely payroll inputs and coordination with the finance team
• Manage HRMS updates and data accuracy

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

• Address employee queries, grievances, and conflicts effectively
• Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives
• Foster a positive, productive, and compliant work culture

4. Compliance & Legal

• Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Factory Act, etc.)
• Handle statutory audits and maintain required registers
• Coordinate with government authorities and consultants
• Draft, implement, and update HR policies

5. Performance Management

• Manage performance appraisal cycles and KPI evaluations
• Support managers with performance improvement plans
• Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate learning programs

6. Safety & Work Environment

• Work closely with the safety team to ensure workplace safety compliance
• Conduct HR and safety policy orientations and periodic training

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
• 6 to 8 years of HR experience (preferably in manufacturing / industrial setup)
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and factory compliance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workforce
