We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Head – India who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment for an AI Services Startup. This is an individual contributor role suited for a true go-getter who takes full ownership of the sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure —without depending on pre-qualified leads or support teams. The ideal candidate must have a successful track record of selling to both services and product clients across enterprise and mid-market segments. This role requires someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and capable of building a strong pipeline through their own networks, research, and outreach. You should be highly comfortable in an IC role as well as managing a team as and when required Key Responsibilities: Take complete ownership of the India sales strategy and execution as an individual contributor Generate leads independently through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, events, and referrals Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers to understand business needs and propose tailored solutions Build and manage a healthy, self-sourced pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to leadership Key Requirements: Proven experience (10+ years) in B2B sales with a strong focus on new business development Experience in selling both IT services and software products to enterprise and/or mid-market clients Demonstrated ability to generate leads independently and close high-value deals Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong understanding of technology trends and client buying behavior Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision Comfortable working in a flat, performance-oriented culture Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot Experience working with global clients or in a cross-cultural sales environment Show more Show less
