Trikon Group are excited to be exclusively supporting a high-growth in Wales, UK, who are looking to appoint a Group Finance Head, in a newly created position in Ahmedabad, Gujarat office. This position offers a real progression opportunity. This is a broad and strategic role that requires a hands-on approach to financial management, ensuring robust financial control and driving business performance. Responsibilities Ø Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and reporting deadlines. Ø Lead the budgeting process across all subsidiaries, setting financial targets and monitoring performance against budget on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Ø Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior management. Ø Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the group, identifying areas for improvement and driving performance optimization. Ø Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute strategic financial plans aligned with overall business objectives. Ø Ensure robust internal controls are in place across the group to mitigate financial risk and maintain compliance. Ø Prepare comprehensive management reports for senior management, including detailed analysis of financial performance, variance analysis, and key metrics. Ø Oversee tax planning and compliance activities across the group, ensuring accurate tax filings. Ø Manage and develop a team of finance professionals across different subsidiaries, providing guidance and support. Ø Take full ownership of treasury management and banking operations, optimizing cash flow and financial risk management strategies across the group. Ø Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns, while managing head office payroll to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and operational efficiency. Ø Leverage Power BI and other analytical tools to enhance financial reporting capabilities, providing actionable insights and support to international subsidiaries within the group. Qualifications Ø Expertise in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Ø Proficiency in financial software (i.e. xero, QuickBooks..Etc.), and advanced Excel skills. Ø Ability to analyze large datasets, interpret financial information, and draw meaningful conclusions. Ø Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to effectively present complex financial information to senior management. Ø Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of finance professionals. Ø Understanding of business operations and the ability to align financial strategies with overall business goals. Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Relevant Experience. Ø Significant experience in a senior finance role within a multi-company organization. Ø Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting and analysis processes. Ø Experience in budgeting, forecasting, due diligence and financial planning.
