About The Role
We’re looking for a commercially-minded and hands-on
Head of Finance
to lead Liven’s finance function and support the business through its next phase of growth. You will be a core member of the leadership team and a trusted partner to the CEO, board, and department heads.This is a highly strategic role focused on financial planning, investor reporting, compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll build the financial systems, insights, and structure that enable Liven to scale confidently, while maintaining strong governance and control.
What You'll Do
- Lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to translate financial data into strategic decisions.
- Oversee accounting, tax, audit, and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with relevant local and international standards.
- Prepare and present regular board packs, investor reports, and executive dashboards.
- Drive improvements in unit economics, operating margins, and cash flow performance.
- Manage capital planning, including fundraising support, due diligence preparation, and investor communications.
- Build and scale Liven’s financial systems and processes to support a growing, global SaaS business.
- Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Act as the primary contact for external partners including auditors, tax advisors, and banking relationships.
- Maintain Liven’s NetSuite environment, including sandbox testing and implementation of automation or enhancements.
- This role is pivotal to Liven’s success as it:
- Directly supports scalable growth and capital efficiency
- Enables executive alignment through clear financial visibility and governance
- Strengthens Liven’s credibility with investors and stakeholders
- Ensures we're positioned for future funding rounds, M&A activity, or international expansio
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- CPA, CA, or CFA certification required.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
- Background in SaaS, fintech, or technology businesses is essential — ideally with exposure to international operations.
- Demonstrated success in leading financial operations in high-growth or VC-backed environments
- Expertise in SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, churn, LTV:CAC, deferred revenue, and margin analysis.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including sandbox environments for financial process testing and iteration.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience managing audits, compliance, and multi-region regulatory requirements.
- Skilled in building scalable, automated finance functions and reporting workflows.

- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align financial strategy with business goals.
- Experience supporting fundraising rounds, investor communications, and due diligence.
- Familiarity with pricing strategy, unit economics, and cost optimization in SaaS.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Passion for working in fast-paced environments and scaling systems from the ground up.
