Designation: Finance Head

Work Location: Koregaon Park, Pune

Experience: Extensive experience (12-15 years) in finance, preferably with leadership experience in the jewellery.

Education: A Chartered Accountant (CA)

Package: Up to 30 LPA

Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong understanding of internal controls, especially for high-value inventory. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Padm). Excellent analytical, data analysis, and business acumen. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals.

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business objectives and profitability.

Cost & Margin Optimization: Oversee detailed costing for jewelry manufacturing, conduct pricing analysis, and partner with teams to improve gross margins.

Inventory & Working Capital Management: Manage working capital and cash flow, with a focus on optimizing inventory (precious metals and gemstones) and receivables.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with jewelry-specific regulations, such as GST, BIS norms, and haymaking standards. Implement internal controls and risk mitigation strategies to protect assets and prevent pilferage.

Financial Reporting: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, sourcing, and sales teams to align financial goals with operational activities and strategic initiatives.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and auditors.

Industry-Specific Requirements Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records for inward and outward movement of jewelry stock, including precious materials.

Costing & Yields: Develop models for job costing, material yields, and process efficiencies in manufacturing.

Regulatory Adherence: Understand and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, including haymaking standards.

Event Finance: Manage budgets, costs, and revenue for jewelry exhibitions and promotional events.
