Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Head Chef to lead our Indian kitchen team at JW Marriott, with 10-18 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Oversee daily operations of the Indian kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Develop and implement menus catering to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
Manage inventory of spices, herbs, and other ingredients used in Indian cuisine.
Supervise and train junior chefs to maintain consistency in cooking techniques and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including its history, techniques, and ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
