Role Responsibilities Professional Summary: Detail-oriented and analytical Hotel Accountant with atleast 2 years of experience managing financial operations within the hospitality industry. Strong understanding of hotel-specific accounting systems such as Opera, MICROS, and Hotelogix. Skilled at optimizing cost controls, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and hotel policies. Adept at working closely with hotel management, vendors, and auditors to support strategic financial decisions and drive profitability. Key Skills Hotel Accounting & Financial Reporting Budgeting & Forecasting Accounts Payable & Receivable Night Audit Reconciliation Cost Control & Inventory Management Managing Tax Compliance & Internal Audits Financial System Proficiency (Zoho Books etc.) Experience Highlights Managed monthly closings and financial statements for at least a 60 room hotel, reducing month-end closing time by 20%. Oversaw daily revenue audits, ensured accurate posting of income, and resolved discrepancies in coordination with front office and F&B departments. Supported successful external audits by maintaining organized documentation and compliance with local tax regulations.
