Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee complete accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain MIS reports and present financial insights to leadership
• Track cash flow, budgets, and expenses for all departments

2. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits
• Prepare and file all monthly/quarterly returns on time

3. Process Management & Controls

• Set up and refine internal financial controls
• Create SOPs for accounting workflows and approval processes
• Implement cost-control measures and improve financial efficiency
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of all financial data

4. Vendor & Client Finance Management

• Monitor vendor payments, contracts, and reconciliation
• Manage client invoicing, collections, and follow-ups
• Maintain transparent records of outstanding receivables and payables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com)
• CA / CMA (intermediate or final) preferred but not mandatory
• 5–10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
• Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, compliance rules, and audit processes
