Head Accountant

As a Senior Accountant in our company, your role will involve overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing and reviewing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. - Managing GST compliance by filing returns and handling audits effectively. - Ensuring TDS deductions are accurate and timely, with proper filing of returns. - Supervising and guiding junior accountants in their daily tasks and reporting. - Reconciling accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions. - Assisting in budgeting and forecasting for financial planning. - Coordinating with external auditors for annual audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Maintaining accurate records for tax filings and regulatory compliance. - Implementing internal controls and best practices to safeguard company assets. - Collaborating with management for financial decision-making and strategic planning. - Staying updated on tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
