Godown Manager

overseeing the efficient flow of goods within a warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and team leadership. They ensure the safety and security of the warehouse and its contents while meeting operational goals and adhering to relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:Overseeing the accurate tracking and control of inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing storage costs.
• Shipping and Receiving:Coordinating the timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods, managing logistics, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Warehouse Operations:Managing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods; ensuring efficient space utilization and optimizing workflows.
• Team Leadership:Leading and supervising warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management; fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Safety and Security:Maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing security measures.
• Budgeting and Financial Management:Preparing and managing the warehouse budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Communication and Collaboration:Communicating effectively with suppliers, customers, and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyzing warehouse performance data, generating reports, and identifying areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Leadership and Management:Experience in leading and managing teams, motivating employees, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Inventory Management:Experience in managing inventory systems, conducting stock audits, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Logistics and Supply Chain:Understanding of logistics principles, supply chain management, and shipping and receiving procedures.
• Problem-Solving:Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, implement solutions, and improve efficiency.
• Communication:Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with staff, suppliers, and customers.
• Safety and Security:Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
• Technology:Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and other relevant technologies.
• Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
