As a Warehouse Supervisor, your role involves leading and managing a team to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include: - Assigning tasks and supervising daily activities of warehouse staff. - Training new employees and providing ongoing coaching on procedures. - Monitoring and evaluating employee performance to motivate teams to meet goals. You will also be responsible for: - Overseeing the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy. - Implementing and maintaining inventory tracking systems, conducting audits, and managing stock rotation. - Ensuring accurate documentation and control of all warehouse transactions. In addition, you will need to: - Manage the loading and unloading of shipments to maintain a smooth workflow. - Monitor and ensure the proper functioning and safety of warehouse equipment like forklifts. - Identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs. Your role also involves: - Implementing and enforcing safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment. - Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. - Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. To excel in this position, you should have: - Proven experience in warehouse operations or a supervisory role. - Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (MS Office). - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain operations, and warehouse safety protocols. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
