Godown Manager

A Godown Incharge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of staff and storage areas. Key duties include supervising warehouse staff, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with logistics and suppliers, and enforcing safety protocols to ensure smooth operations, accurate stock, and timely shipments.

Core responsibilities
1. Approval in OTDSystem following, payment following, group coordination .

2.Inventory and stock management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, and resolve any discrepancies. Organize and maintain stock in a way that maximizes space and accessibility.

3.Receiving and dispatching: Oversee the receiving of incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, and supervise the picking, packing, and shipping of outgoing orders.

4.Staff management: Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, assigning daily tasks, evaluating performance, and ensuring they follow safety procedures.

5. Safety and compliance: Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and compliant with all safety regulations and standard operating procedures. This includes managing the safe operation of machinery like forklifts.

6. Coordination and communication: Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to manage the flow of goods and ensure timely deliveries. Communicate with customers to address shipping-related questions or problems.

Operational efficiency: Implement processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize downtime.Equipment maintenance: Ensure warehouse equipment, tools, and machinery are properly maintained.Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, shipments, and inventory.Reporting: Prepare reports on operational performance, productivity, and inventory levels.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per year
