Godown Manager

• Team Leadership & Management:
• Assign tasks and supervise the daily activities of warehouse staff.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching on procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance and motivate teams to meet goals.
• Inventory & Stock Control:
• Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems, conduct audits, and manage stock rotation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and control of all warehouse transactions.
• Operations & Efficiency:
• Manage the loading and unloading of shipments to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning and safety of warehouse equipment like forklifts.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Coordination & Reporting:
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Handle administrative tasks, maintain records, and report on warehouse performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain operations, and warehouse safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
