Description
We are looking for a results-driven and versatile General Manager to lead overall business operations, drive growth, and ensure service excellence across multiple verticals — including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), MEP Services, AV Technologies, Fire Safety Systems, Surveillance & Security Solutions, and Active & Passive Control Systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and technical knowledge in infrastructure services, IT systems, and building technology integration.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee end-to-end operations for AMC, MEP, AV, Fire Safety, Security, and Control Systems projects.
Ensure timely project delivery, cost control, and adherence to quality standards.
Develop and standardize procedures for installation, testing, and commissioning.
Manage preventive maintenance and facility management programs for client sites.
Drive safety, compliance, and sustainability initiatives across all verticals.
Business Strategy & Growth
Formulate strategies for business expansion and service diversification.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities in enterprise, industrial, and institutional sectors.
Lead tendering, project costing, and contract negotiations to ensure profitability.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and OEMs.
Team Management & Leadership
Lead multidisciplinary teams — engineering, projects, service, and sales.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
Plan manpower, monitor performance metrics, and ensure continuous skill development.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Manage P&L, revenue targets, and operational budgets.
Oversee procurement, vendor management, and inventory planning.
Implement ERP/CRM systems for efficient project tracking and reporting.
Technical Skills & Expertise
Strong understanding of Active and Passive Control Systems including:
Active: Data & networking devices, switches, routers, firewalls, CCTV systems, IP surveillance, access control, PA systems, fire alarm panels, and AV controllers.
Passive: Structured cabling (CAT6/CAT7, fiber optics), patch panels, racks, conduits, cable trays, and enclosures.
Proficiency in MEP systems – electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and associated controls.
In-depth knowledge of Fire Safety Systems – extinguishers, alarm panels, sprinklers, VESDA, and suppression systems.
Experience in AV technologies – displays, conferencing, digital signage, and control automation.
Strong grounding in Facility Management & AMC operations – preventive maintenance, SLAs, and asset management.
Capable of reading and interpreting AutoCAD drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Skilled in MS Office, Excel reporting, and ERP/CRM systems.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering.
MBA / PGDM in Operations or Business Management (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role handling MEP, IT infrastructure, Fire & Security, or Facility Management projects.
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, multi-vendor coordination, and service operations.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and client relationship skills.
