About The Role

Are you eager to become part of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, working on generating business insights which will be used for business level review and decision making ? Your team

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization is a global organization that supports the management of the Signify, its businesses and organizations at large, by providing insightful analysis from the key financial management information and supplies these insights and information to the financial business partners. The purpose of the department is to deliver high-quality analysis and reporting to reach business insights which can be used for decision making. You will report to the FP&A Manager. You will interact with a variety of stakeholders: Finance Business Partners and Business Management, Managers of the Centers of Excellence in FP&A, Accounting Operations & Services (mainly RTR) organizations in the FSC's. This position offers you the possibility to be part of a team of highly motivated, ambitious and talented FP&A Analysts.

Your responsibilities

In this rewarding and challenging role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis and reporting for our commercial organizations, innovation organizations and overhead functions within Signify. Your main responsibilities are:
  • Review and interpret P&L performance for trends and variations delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis to translate these in to actionable responses on business performance.
  • Focused on understanding & solving business challenges through data-based insights, performing forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, scenario analysis, etc.
  • Drive the planning processes for target and forecasts.
  • Accurately & efficiently perform management accounting calculations.
  • Communicating effectively with management and fellow colleagues.
  • Support accounting for month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Work with IT to automate processes and reporting.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
  • Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
  • Continuously look for improvements and implement quick wins;
  • Focus on innovation and automation
  • Create a plan how to set KPI’s, monitor them and improve the outcomes;
  • Be the champion in problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures and embedding the new way of working.
  • Run process improvement projects x-finance pillar and in business, market or function·

We are looking for

The ideal candidate should have minimum a Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting and 3+ years of related experience. As a highly skilled FP&A Analyst, you contribute to the development of concepts and techniques. You have a pro-active attitude with outstanding analytical and communicative capabilities. Network skills are of the outmost importance. Proficient level of English language is essential.You are suitable for this role when you additionally have:
  • Experience with financial control, management reporting and accounting processes
  • Practical business experience is an advantage
  • Experience in working in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization
  • Experience in shared services
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to help shape the future of the FP&A role
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, extract insights from disparate sources of data in order to deliver actionable insights
  • Business influencer with communicating complex findings focusing on relevant KPIs using compelling visual aids, communication scenarios, summaries and key takeaways from detailed analyses
  • Profound knowledge of business analytics
  • High energy, strong sense of urgency, self-motivated and result oriented in combination with a “can-do” mentality
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Eager and quick in understanding and dealing with the business situation in a way that is likely to improve financial performance in coherence with the various functions
  • Solid business and process insight and view on redesign opportunities
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP BCS/EFR
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills and pro-active attitude
  • Able to build bridges between various stakeholders;
  • Outstanding analytical skills;
  • Determination to continuously improve and get the change embedded;
  • Role model as team player and solid social intelligence
  • Ability to work with other cultures
