Job Description

You will be working as a Supervisor in the Financial Due Diligence team in Gurgaon. As a Transaction Advisory Services Associate, you will collaborate closely with both onshore and offshore team members to conduct financial due diligence for middle-market US clients. This includes assisting with buy side due diligence, sell-side due diligence, and working capital support. Joining this team presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established practice that is currently undergoing significant growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deal experience with the onshore team, involving tasks such as data room management, preparation of document request lists, management meeting preparation, workbook analysis, Quality of Earnings assessments, preparing due diligence reports, client calls, and engaging with the team. - Proficiency in financial statements, financial ratio analysis, U.S. GAAP accounting standards, financial concepts, etc. - Advanced skills in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, and advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong analytical abilities, including operational and financial analysis, benchmarking, and trend analysis. - People development and training experience. - Preparation of expert-level workbooks adhering to professional standards and project requirements with minimal rework. - Prioritizing data from financial reports into Excel workbook analyses to guide the U.S.-based team in financial reviews during mergers and acquisitions. - Assistance in preparing Quality of Earnings adjustments, Net Working Capital analyses, identifying Debt-like Items, key Points of Interest, etc. - Reviewing client reports to ensure accuracy of reported numbers. - Remote coordination with consulting professionals, supervisors, and senior management in the U.S., including participation in conference calls during early mornings and late evenings. - Superior verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up. - Managing and updating document request lists effectively. - Ability to prepare industry-specific and ad hoc analyses. - Reviewing and ensuring data accuracy and consistency in final deliverables. - Independently drafting sections of FDD Report like Background, Quality of Earnings, Summary Financials, Exhibits, etc. - Basic Debt/Debt-Like and Net Working Capital analysis and adjustment calculations. - Basic knowledge of technology tools such as Alteryx, Power BI. **Qualifications Required:** - Relevant experience from Big 4 or equivalent Transaction Advisory Services practice. - Qualification in CA/CPA/MBA finance. - Approximately 5+ years of related financial due diligence experience. - Preferred industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, business services, healthcare, financial services, or technology.
