General Summary

The Finance Controller is responsible for leading and managing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role oversees regional financial activities while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration and team leadership to enhance financial efficiency and organizational performance.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial controlling and reporting functions, including daily accounting operations and preparation of financial statements for management.
  • Support financial decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
  • Manage cash flow effectively to ensure business solvency and optimize working capital.
  • Monitor key financial metrics such as production costs, overheads, and profitability, and work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and manage statutory and internal audit processes, working closely with external auditors to ensure full compliance.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with local laws and accounting standards.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of finance professionals to support organizational goals and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on business needs.


Minimum Qualifications & Certifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of finance experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector (bath fittings, sanitaryware, or similar industries).
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in financial risk management and internal control systems in a manufacturing environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role includes management of a team of approximately five finance professionals.
  • Responsibilities include hiring, task assignment, performance review, and capability building.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Expertise in budgeting, financial analytics, and cost management within manufacturing operations.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and other financial software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
