As we scale, we’re looking for a finance leader who can build a world-class finance backbone while acting as a strategic thought-partner to the founders & the board. What You’ll Do

0–3 Months: Laying the Foundation

🟢 Map current finance processes and lead the audit

🟢 Deploy or work deeply with modern tools like e-procurement (e.g., BizeeBuy), OMS/WMS (e.g., Unicommerce, Vinculum, Shiprocket)

🟢Roll out disciplined MIS, BI dashboards & rolling forecasts

🟢 Assess working capital; plug AR/AP, logistics & inventory leakages

🟢 Set up weekly settlement reconciliation against Unicommerce data

🟢 Translate supply chain data into finance KPIs: landed cost, inventory turns, GRN vs. invoice variance, fulfillment SLAs

🟢 Build a single source of truth by marrying ad-platform reports (Meta, Google, QC) with Unicommerce/ERP data to align finance and growth metrics like ROAS & contribution margin

🟢 Monitor key guardrails: CAC, ROAS, CM

3+ Months: Optimization & Scale

🟢 Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and rolling forecasts

🟢 Build strong business-finance partnerships across sales, supply chain, and marketing

🟢 Drive gross margin expansion via pricing, mix, and sourcing analytics

🟢 Strengthen internal controls and ensure GST/TDS compliance

🟢 Own board/investor reporting, lead fundraise data rooms & financial due diligence

🟢 Mentor a 5-member finance team across FP&A, controllership, and tax

Prepare the company for IPO-grade governance within 3 years

What Makes You a Great Fit

Must-Haves

🟢 Qualified Chartered Accountant (Company Secretary is a plus)

🟢 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in consumer products, retail, e-commerce, or growth-stage companies

🟢 Proven ownership of FP&A, business finance, and controllership for companies with ₹100 Cr+ revenue

🟢 Ability to operate at both strategy (fundraising, board) and execution (costing, filings) levels

🟢 Demonstrated leadership and team development track record

When we started Eat Better Co. in 2020, our goal was simple: to bring the warmth and authenticity of homemade Indian snacks to everyone—without ever compromising on health. Today, I’m proud to say we’ve become a thriving, internet-first D2C brand, delivering over 2 lakh orders every month through our own site, Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart. We’re now the leading healthy snacking brand across both Q-commerce and e-commerce in India.

Our journey took a national spotlight on Shark Tank India Season 4, where we secured a ₹50 lakh investment from Namita Thapar, valuing Eat Better Co. at ₹100 crore. It was an incredible validation of the vision and values that drive us. In April 2025, we raised ₹17 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Prath Ventures and Spring Marketing Capital, building on the ₹9 crore we’d previously raised from Java Capital, Mumbai Angels, and others. These milestones are helping us expand into new snack categories and further strengthen our presence across quick-commerce platforms.
