Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Management

§ Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions, including Sales, Purchases, Expenses, Assets, Inventories, etc.

§ Streamline and enhance financial processes: assess current accounting operations, recommend improvements, and implement new processes.

§ Develop and enforce SOPs focused on profitability and process efficiency.

Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting

§ Provide management with high-level financial reporting and analysis essential for decision-making.

§ Develop, monitor, and report key business performance metrics.

§ Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate consolidated business results.

§ Prepare and coordinate internal and external financial statements as required.

§ Coordinate and direct preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly variance reporting.

§ Support the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Fund Management

§ Manage cash flow effectively through accurate financial forecasting, considering the business’s operational needs.

§ Oversee debt management and collection activities, ensuring proper cash flow management.

Internal Controls & Process Governance

§ Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

§ Evaluate accounting and internal control systems periodically to strengthen compliance and efficiency.

§ Assess and recommend improvements for accounting software and supporting databases as needed.

Audit Compliance

§ Act as the primary contact point for Internal Auditor, External Auditors, and Tax Department.

§ Coordinate all audit activities, including facilitating statutory audits and tax audits.

§ Support compliance for audits of the Holding Company and various Subsidiaries.

Regulatory Compliance

§ Oversee financial compliance and regulatory reporting, including direct and indirect tax planning and compliance.

§ Ensure compliance with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings.

People Management

§ Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting and finance staff.

§ Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounts team, provide mentoring, and drive process accountability.

ERP System Support

§ Support ERP Finance Module configuration and use, ensuring proper setup of GL, Tax Codes, Budgeting, and Reporting aligned to business needs.

§ Coordinate process automation and system improvements.
