Job Summary:

As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of a rapidly growing organization. You will oversee critical financial operations, drive strategic initiatives, and lead a high-performing finance team in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full spectrum of the companys financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
  • Lead and guide the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial policies, systems, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights that support business planning and strategic decisions.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning to align with the companys goals and growth strategies.
  • Oversee all tax, audit, and statutory reporting requirements in line with Indian regulations.
  • Track and analyze key financial metrics, recommending cost optimization and efficiency improvements where necessary.
  • Identify potential financial risks and implement strategies to minimize exposure and safeguard company assets.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory agencies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (CA and CMA) is strongly preferred.
  • 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or controllership role.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
