Core Responsibilities • Financial Reporting : Accurately prepare and present timely financial management report (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements), ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Group standards. The controller must ensure these reports provide clear, actionable insights for both local management and corporate headquarters, maintaining a consistent format for decision-making. • Budgeting & Forecasting : Manage the annual budgeting process (3 years plan) and create regular financial forecasts to project future performance. • Financial Analysis : Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. • Compliance & Audit : Ensure, together with the accounting manager and the accounting department, adherence to all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. • Internal Controls : Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. • Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and liquidity. • Strategic Support : Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making. 2. Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills • Accounting Expertise: Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices (IFRS/GAAP) and local GAAP. • Financial Software Proficiency : Extensive experience and deep understanding of financial systems are essential. This includes: o Advanced skills with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics). o Strong knowledge with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for generating insightful reports. o The ability to leverage these tools to automate processes and streamline financial operations. • Spreadsheet Mastery : High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling and data manipulation. • Data Analysis driven : Ability to analyze large datasets and translate them into actionable insights. Soft Skills • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly accurate in all financial work. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. 3. Educational & Professional Background • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Nice to have: CA / MBA is often preferred. • Experience: Preferred experience in a financial management role, emphasis on capability as a financial controller or in a similar position. o Experience with multi-currency and international operations is a plus for global companies. • highly motivated to grow with the company - and more IT and ERP/BI/Microsoft Office package user-friendly. Need to be smarter with the software systems, preferably SAP B1.
