Financial Controller

This is a remote position.

We're looking for a Financial Controller to take charge of Tequity's financial systems from client contracts to monthly reporting and ensure smooth, transparent, and efficient financial operations across the company.This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, and is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, maintaining order, and providing financial clarity to leadership. You'll work closely with the founders, managing everything from invoicing and collections to expense control and monthly analysis.If you're someone who takes ownership, loves structure, and has a strong eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to build scalable financial foundations for a fast-growing product and technology company.

What We're Looking For

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CA Inter, or MBA in Finance.

• 25 years of relevant experience in financial control, accounting, or FP&A.

• Strong understanding of contract-based revenue and expense systems.

• Excellent English communication and professional email etiquette you'll be interacting regularly with clients and vendors.

• Experience managing multi-country billing or payments is a plus.

• High level of ownership, organization, and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in dynamic, high-growth environments.

• Proficiency with financial tools (Excel, Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
