“Finance Manager” - Chakan
Responsibilities:
Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GA standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures; Coordinating all audit activity.
Consistently analysing of financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress, changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the financial status.
Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining and correcting variances as appropriate.
Supporting the CFO in engaging the board’s audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery. Overseeing all financial, project/program and grants accounting; ensuring that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets throughout the yea
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
General and Task Management
- Implementation of the Finance Direction standards and guidelines for the economic control of the company.
- Represent the Finance Direction in the company deploying its policies and initiatives.
- Responsible to manage all issues related to periodical financial controlling and financial and analytical accounting, supervised by the Business Unit Controller. Follow up and update procedures, instructions and forms for the best economic control of the company.
- Assure compliance of regulations both external and internal.
- Follow up of year budget elaboration and fulfilment of the objectives (P&L, CAPEX, Working Capital, etc).
- Collaboration and support to Management in deviation, follow up and settlement of regulating actions.
- Coordination and survey of forecast information.
- Elaboration with the BU team of the 5 years business plan.
- Economic and financial analysis of business cases when demanded by the Directors.
- Preparation and follow up of documentation to grants and subsidies.
- Support to Finance Direction in recruitment, follow up and evaluation of the finance team in the company.
- Coordination and reporting of financial audits.
- Update of knowledge related to any changes in legislation.
- Review and approve the financial terms in contractual documentations.
- Close co-operation with company lawyers.
Relationship Management
- Finance principle that involves maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with an organization's stakeholders.
- Determine who your stakeholders are and what their relationship is to the organization.
- Identify and prioritize which stakeholder relationship dimensions need immediate attention. For example, prioritize according to the risk of non-compliance with customer requirements.
- Establish stakeholder relationships that balance short-term benefits with long-term goals..
- Establish cooperation with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders aimed at development and improvement.
- Avoid mutual accusations and work together to find optimal solutions to problems, eliminate, and prevent discrepancies. Communication should be open and two-way.

CA/CMA/CA Final Experienced/(B.Com Graduate and MBA)
Experience: 10 to 12 years
Industry - Preferable from Manufacturing background - Automobile industry preferred.
Exposure to Accounting Software - SAP Exposure Preferred- Relevant experience of using SAP (7 to 8 years).
Experience in Manufacturing in managing Manufacturing plant day today accounting, MIS, Audit,
Statutory Compliances, Budgeting (Managerial post) of at least 7 to 8 years- Minimum Rs. 100 crore.
