Profile Overview

  • The Event & Partnerships Manager – US Market will serve as the key driver for building YCS’s brand presence and generating qualified leads across the US hospitality industry through a strong, event-centric B2B strategy.
  • The role demands deep understanding of the US market, with strong emphasis on trade shows, association partnerships (e.g., AAHOA), proprietary events, digital webinars, and regional hospitality ecosystems.
  • Working closely with HQ marketing, global content, and sales teams, this position manages the full event lifecycle—from strategic planning and vendor coordination to on-site execution and post-event lead nurturing—to ensure maximum ROI and market impact.
  • Additionally, this role will develop key industry partnerships, support PR initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to localize global campaigns for the US audience.


Responsibilities


1. Event Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus)

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of all US-based events including trade shows, regional conferences, customer events, and webinars.
  • Build and manage relationships with major industry associations and partners to leverage sponsorship, speaking slots, and high-value networking opportunities.
  • Handle event logistics, vendor negotiations, budget oversight, booth design/materials, and operational workflows from start to finish.
  • Partner closely with Sales on pre-event outreach, booth engagement strategies, and structured post-event lead follow-up.
  • Monitor event success metrics and prepare detailed ROI and performance reports.


2. Partnerships & Public Relations (PR)

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships, collaborations, and speaking opportunities to strengthen YCS’s brand presence in the US hospitality ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with US-based media, PR teams, and association contacts for event-related press and announcements.
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with YCS's brand guidelines and US event objectives.


3. Digital, Content & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the US market expert for event and field marketing, guiding HQ teams on regional nuances and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with global Content, Design, and Digital teams to localize assets such as booth creatives, presentations, event invitations, landing pages, etc.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns (email, social, paid) aimed at driving event registrations and booth traffic.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, qualification, and CRM attribution of all event leads generated.


Key Competencies for the Role

  • Event Marketing Expertise: 6+ years of proven experience managing large-scale trade shows, association events, webinars, and B2B field marketing activities in the US market.
  • Partnership Development: Strong ability to establish and maintain collaborations with associations, media partners, and industry influencers.
  • Project & Vendor Management: Skilled in handling logistics, negotiating with vendors, and optimizing event budgets.
  • Communication & Content Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling event messaging for US hoteliers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Comfortable working with international teams and aligning global strategies with local US requirements.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to measure event performance, track lead conversion, and drive continuous optimization.


Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on B2B event marketing experience in the US, ideally within SaaS, hospitality tech, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated history of managing major trade shows and association partnerships (AAHOA, HITEC preferred).
  • Strong understanding of event logistics, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-ground execution.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels used for event promotion and lead follow-up.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially for the US hospitality audience.
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with CRM systems for lead management.
  • Ability to work with international teams across time zones.
  • Positive attitude, multitasking capability, and strong ownership mindset.
  • Willingness to travel domestically within the US for events and partner engagements.
