We are seeking a Policy Processing Clerk with insurance operations expertise to join as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) collaborator. You will provide domain insights into policy administration processes that will guide the design of AI-powered automation solutions for insurers, TPAs, and brokers. Role Overview As a Policy Processing Clerk, you will be the bridge between insurance operations and product innovation. Your experience in preparing, updating, and maintaining insurance policy records will help shape automation logic for data-intensive workflows such as policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and compliance checks. Key Responsibilities Policy Administration Expertise Review applications, policy documents, endorsements, and renewals for accuracy. Ensure data consistency across forms, declarations, schedules, and regulatory filings. Support underwriting teams with validation of applicant and policyholder data. Workflow Mapping & Product Input Map end-to-end processes for policy issuance, amendments, and cancellations. Define standard templates, checklists, and exceptions commonly found in insurance policy workflows. Provide input on compliance requirements (IRDAI, NAIC, or equivalent regulations). Quality Assurance & Validation Assist product teams in testing AI models for extracting data from policy documents. Validate outputs against standard insurance formats and identify edge cases. Suggest business rules for error handling, approvals, and data reconciliation. Client & Internal Collaboration Support client discovery sessions focused on policy processing challenges. Share real-world scenarios to build demos and use cases. Contribute knowledge to training material for internal teams and clients. Required Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of experience in insurance policy processing, underwriting support, or claims operations. Familiarity with common insurance policy documents (applications, endorsements, schedules, declarations). Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and validation skills. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in insurance. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), policy admin systems, and document management workflows.
