We are looking for a Technical Operations Manager to lead and manage our technical operations team. This role ensures the smooth functioning, reliability, and scalability of Scry AI’s platforms in client environments, while driving operational excellence and compliance across deployments.

Role Overview

As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day technical operations, ensuring uptime, and supporting enterprise deployments. You will oversee incident response, SLA compliance, system monitoring, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, product, and client success teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day technical operations for internal systems and client-facing deployments.
• Ensure uptime, system availability, and SLA commitments are consistently met.
• Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.

Monitoring & Performance

• Implement and maintain monitoring/observability frameworks across platforms.
• Define and track KPIs for performance, uptime, and reliability.
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Team & Process Leadership

• Lead and mentor the technical operations team.
• Establish best practices for ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort in operational tasks.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with engineering on deployments, upgrades, and performance fixes.
• Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and support.
• Support compliance teams with operational documentation for audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Continuous Improvement

• Drive operational excellence through standardization, playbooks, and automation.
• Stay updated on industry best practices in SaaS operations, DevOps, and AIOps.
• Recommend new tools and frameworks for improving reliability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in technical operations, IT service delivery, or SaaS/enterprise deployments.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, etc.).
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and enterprise operations best practices.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
