Leadership & Strategic Skills • Ability to build the e-commerce department from scratch • Develop SOPs, workflows, reporting formats • Strong vendor and marketplace relationship-building • Ability to recruit, train and manage a small team (listing executive, order processing staff, coordinator) • Strategic planning skills for monthly/quarterly revenue targets • Problem-solving mindset for issues like returns, high RTO, delayed shipments. ⸻ C. Soft Skills • Strong communication in English, Hindi, and Indian business communication • High ownership and responsibility • Time management and ability to handle pressure • Creative thinking for product packaging, photoshoot ideas, ad creatives • Data-driven decision maker ⸻ 2️⃣ Job Description – Senior E-Commerce Manager (NLC) A. Primary Role Purpose To develop the complete e-commerce department of National Lights Company from zero, establish systems, execute online sales strategy, grow revenue, and scale NLC as a major lighting brand across India. ⸻ B. Key Responsibilities 1. Department Setup & Strategy • Create the full e-commerce roadmap for NLC • Plan and execute marketplace onboarding • Setup workflows for order handling, stock syncing, returns & customer support • Build the team (listing staff, order handling staff, photo/video editor) • Introduce automated tools for pricing and inventory ⸻ 2. Product Listing & Catalog Management • Create professional product titles, descriptions, bullet points • Ensure high-quality photoshoots & image editing • Upload attributes like wattage, lumens, size, warranty, materials • Create product bundles & festive combos • Keep all listings updated and competitive ⸻ 3. Marketplace Operations • Daily order management & timely shipping • Reduce RTO % through address verification • Manage returns, replacement, refunds, inventory • Maintain across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Jiomart & NLC’s own website • Ensure compliance with platform policies ⸻ 4. Pricing & Revenue Growth • Monitor competitors across platforms • Implement dynamic pricing strategy • Plan discount campaigns, coupons, festival offers • Set and achieve monthly revenue & profit targets • Work on brand visibility: Best Seller Tags, Sponsored Ads, Deals of the Day ⸻ 5. Analytics & Reporting • Track daily/weekly metrics: • Sales • Traffic • Conversion rate • Order defect rate • Advertisement ROI • Share weekly & monthly revenue reports directly to the Director • Data analysis to identify best-selling vs non-moving items ⸻ 6. Coordination & Cross-Department Support • Coordinate with: • Warehouse team (stock updates) • Product team (new arrivals & specifications) • Accounts team (billing & GST) • Service team (installation/warranty queries) • Maintain strong supplier & marketplace relationships ⸻ 7. Branding & Growth Marketing • Improve brand visibility through: • Social media promotions • Influencer tie-ups • Google/Meta ads • Develop packaging for NLC products • Improve customer experience & retention ⸻ 3️⃣ KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) • Monthly & quarterly revenue target achievement • Number of listings uploaded/optimized • RTO rate reduction • Order accuracy & timely dispatch rate • Sponsored ads ROI (ROAS) • Conversion rate improvement • Marketplace compliance score • Growth in brand visibility & ratings ⸻ 4️⃣ Expected Outcomes in 3–6 Months • Fully operational e-commerce department • 300–500 SKUs properly listed • Daily orders flowing from multiple channels • Revenue targets consistently achieved • NLC recognized as a trusted lighting brand online • Structured system + reporting + trained team
