The Director – Finance will be a key strategic partner in shaping FOTATO’s financial roadmap. You will lead budgeting, business planning, revenue strategy, investor reporting, and governance while supporting growth through cost control, automation, and scalable systems.

Strategic Finance & FP&A

Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts

Partner with CEO & business heads to drive profitable growth and margin improvement

Design and track unit economics, GMV, CAC, AOV, contribution margins, and burn rate

Drive business analytics for cities, product verticals, and strategic projects

Revenue & Business Finance

Own topline and P&L visibility city-wise and segment-wise

Develop dashboards for real-time revenue tracking and cost center performance

Partner with sales and operations to manage pricing, commissions, fleet payouts, etc.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

Support equity and debt fundraising by building financial models, investor decks, and diligence data rooms

Prepare monthly MIS, board reports, and investor updates

Manage due diligence and compliance for funding rounds

Controls, Compliance & Systems

Lead financial accounting, vendor payments, receivables, GST, and tax filings

Ensure internal controls, audits, and SOPs for scale

Work closely with product/tech teams to implement ERP, CRM, and payout systems

Requirements

CA / MBA Finance from Tier 1 institute preferred

5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles in startups, marketplaces, or consumer internet companies

Proven experience with scaling financial operations from early to growth stage

Deep understanding of marketplace metrics, delivery unit economics, and partner payouts

Strong grasp of fundraising, investor reporting, and board communication

Hands-on with MIS tools, ERPs (Zoho, Tally, SAP, Oracle), and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)

Action-oriented, founder’s mindset

Capable of handling ambiguity and scaling fast in Tier 2/3 cities

Team builder with strong mentoring skills

Experience working with founders, VCs, and multi-functional teams
