POSITION SUMMARY:
We are searching for Analyst-S&OP who possesses the Demand planning analyst skill to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in delivering aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. THE ROLE
This role is responsible for supporting planning process as per global practices coordinating with departments, clarifying deviations, ensuring quality production meeting statutory regulations, and managing facility and 5S implementation. implement actions to achieve the organizational goals. together with plant Leaders (i.e. Customer Service, Operations and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization’s objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal stakeholders.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.
The responsibilities of the role are implementing the required action plan, managing, involve controlling, organizing, and monitoring production operations to meet targets, implementing corrective actions, and developing recovery plans for delays activities to support efforts to achieve the productivity plan.
The assigned territories include Fluid Power businesses in India. The specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
Maximum 3 pointers per accountability
Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
- SKU level forecasting from customer service and commercial inputs and align with MRP planning process.
- Monitoring the demand changes timely to meet the customer expectations and maintain effective communication.
- Close coordination with customer service & Commercial team to generate safety stocks that meet customer needs based on historical sales patterns, Business strategy & Market trend.
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
- Identify the supply shortall and gap between Supply forecast and timely consumption with procurement.
- Communicate weekly the forecast risk and opportunity, forecast variance to stakeholders
- Create SKU level safety stock using Inventory policy with ABC/XYZ analysis.
Accountability #3: People
- Closely work with sales, Commercial , Marketing , supply / production planning , Customer service team to improve the demand & supply process.
- Closely work with commercial /Customer service to improve the Forecasting accuracy.
- Creating alerts to S&OP Manager and Customer service on the potential demand shortfalls or surges that may affect the service level and revenue loss.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent reports to Head S&OP & operate with a team of 5-6 + contributors or Individual Contributor.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
This person must have:-
- Minimum 3 years, proven track record in Supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material management
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Sound knowledge of Business intelligence, tools and forecast techniques.
- Knowledge to understand different customers portals and demand releasing pattern and frequency ( like JIT/Kanban/Monthly Scheduling / Pattern Production/ Demand change communications.
- Good analytical skill set with sound knowledge for ERP models.
- Experience in Statistical forecasting /Scenario planning /Different concepts of data driven forecasting.
- Effective Time and Resource Management Skills.
