Min Experience: 6 yearsLocation: MumbaiJobType: full-timeWe are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Commercial Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving commercial performance, providing strategic financial insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across business units. This role is best suited for professionals with 6 to 12 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering, preferably in a high-growth or complex organizational environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering & Commercial Analysis Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to provide financial insights, improve decision-making, and drive profitability. Lead financial modelling to assess pricing strategies, ROI on campaigns, customer acquisition costs, and margin optimization.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting Own and drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure business plans are aligned with strategic goals.
Performance Management & Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to track performance versus targets. Provide variance analysis and actionable commentary to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
Financial Modelling & Scenario Planning Create robust and flexible financial models for new initiatives, business cases, product launches, or partnerships. Analyze risks and opportunities to guide commercial strategy.
Cost & Margin Analysis Deep dive into cost structures, margin profiles, and P&L levers to identify efficiency opportunities and optimize profitability across channels and geographies.
Deal & Contract Support Support commercial negotiations by evaluating deal structures, pricing models, and terms. Partner with legal and procurement teams to ensure financial viability of contracts.
Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, controls, and SOX/compliance requirements. Participate in audits and maintain documentation for financial operations and processes.

Key Requirements:

6-12 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business finance roles, ideally in a fast-paced, matrixed, or global environment.
Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA is a plus.
Proven experience in business partnering and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and influence stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, SAP, or Oracle).
High attention to detail, strategic mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
