Procurement Engineer – Civil (Site + Vendor Coordination) 📍 Basalt Hills by Ascenta – Karjat / Navi Mumbai Region 🕒 Full-Time | Immediate Joining Ascenta is building Mumbai’s most premium nature-integrated villa community — Basalt Hills. We are expanding our team and looking for a driven individual who can ensure smooth procurement and strong vendor management for our project. Key Responsibilities • Source vendors and obtain competitive pricing for all construction materials • Prepare rate comparisons, POs, and track deliveries • Maintain procurement tracker, inventory logs, and GRNs • Coordinate with architects, PMC, engineers, contractors, and accounts • Ensure material quality checks and quantity verification on-site • Support site execution activities and daily operational needs • Follow project schedule and ensure timely material availability Who We’re Looking For • Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering • 2–5 years of experience in procurement or site execution (Real Estate / EPC) • Strong communication, negotiation skills & on-site presence • Familiarity with BOQ, drawings, DPRs & basic QC Technical & Site-Specific Responsibilities 1. Site Execution & Technical Expertise * Proven experience in:   * Rock cutting and excavation   * Soil filling / backfilling   * Subgrade preparation   * WBM / WMM layer formation   * Road construction and formation   * Stormwater drainage systems (RCC drains, culverts) * Ensure stringent quality control across civil works, earthwork, utilities, and finishing. * Validate compaction, levels, slopes, and material quality in coordination with testing agencies. 2. Drawings, Surveys & Interpretation * Skilled in Total Station operations, GPS survey data, and contour map analysis. * Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings and ensure accurate site implementation. * Cross-verify levels, grid points, and layout execution as per approved master plans. 3. Consultant & Vendor Coordination * Daily coordination with:   * Structural & infrastructure consultants   * Licensing architects   * MEP & landscape consultants * Manage vendor productivity, quality standards, and timelines in alignment with project targets. * Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, RFIs, and approvals to maintain construction flow. 4. Planning, Documentation & Reporting * Prepare and maintain:   * DPRs (Daily Progress Reports)   * Weekly execution and resource plans   * Material requisition and delivery schedules   * BOQ tracking, material reconciliation, and progress-vs-baseline reports * Maintain complete and updated documentation for internal audits and consultant reviews. Candidate Profile * Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred) MBA / PG in Project Management (Advantageous) * Experience: 4–10 years of experience in site execution or project management within plotted developments, villa projects, townships, or large-scale infrastructure works. * Key Skills:   * Strong understanding of earthwork, roadwork, utilities, and structural execution   * Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera / AutoCAD   * Sound knowledge of BOQs, contracts, and cost control systems   * Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities   * Ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments with precision and composure * Location: Full-time, on-site at Basalt Hills by Ascenta — Khalapur
