Role Title: SVP Product / Chief Product Officer

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a strategic and execution-focused SVP Product / Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead product strategy, innovation, and delivery for enterprise GRC platform. This is a pivotal executive role for a leader with deep domain expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), a strong track record in enterprise SaaS, and a disciplined, process-driven approach to product management. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CPO will collaborate closely with Chief Technology Officer, Chief Customer Officer, Head of Marketing, and critically, Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure tight alignment between platform vision, product architecture, and go-to-market execution. This role is central to driving company growth through customer-centric innovation and rapid iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the global product strategy and roadmap, grounded in AI and GRC expertise and evolving customer needs
• Implement and/or improve Agile frameworks that promote accountability, velocity, and collaboration across product and engineering
• Use capability mapping to evaluate platform strengths, prioritize investments, and guide product evolution
• Engage directly with enterprise customers across multiple personas to validate pain points, test hypotheses, and inform prioritization
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure product strategy is tightly aligned with market demand, customer feedback, and growth objectives.
• Drive feature development through user journey mapping, rapid iteration, and validation of value propositions with clients
• Lead global product teams with clarity, including deep collaboration with development teams in India. Cultivate a culture of urgency, ownership, and outcome-based execution across the product organization
• Support storytelling and market engagement efforts, including board, analyst, and customer communications

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Overall 18+ years of experience with minimum 10 years of product leadership experience in enterprise SaaS and GRC domains (e.g., risk, compliance, audit, or security platforms)
• Proven success scaling Agile practices and driving transformation in complex product ecosystems
• Expertise in capability mapping and strategic planning tools (Business Model Canvas, Lean Canvas, JTBD, etc.)
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders from boardrooms to customer workshops
• Significant knowledge of AI, both for internal efficiency and embedding into products to deliver customer value
• Deep experience with Jira and Confluence as core tools for product planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to drive feature development through user journeys, rapid iteration, and real-time validation with customers
• Willingness to travel globally — including to the United States, United Kingdom and other locations based on client/prospect requirements as well as for quarterly board meetings
