Job Description

As the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) of our company, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product and technology strategy. Your role involves owning the vision, roadmap, engineering architecture, and execution of our digital learning platforms to ensure top-notch performance, scalability, and impact on a large B2C user base. Your key responsibilities will include: Product & Growth Strategy: - Defining and owning the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business and learning objectives. - Driving product-led growth by optimizing user journeys from free to paid subscriptions. - Building and scaling impactful products such as mock test platforms, gamified learning experiences, analytics dashboards, and video delivery systems. - Enhancing user engagement, retention, and monetization through continuous experimentation and feedback loops. Technology Leadership: - Architecting and overseeing a scalable, secure, and high-performance technology stack for mobile and web platforms. - Leading the adoption of AI/ML for personalization, content recommendation, and learning analytics. - Implementing best practices in DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), microservices, data security, and automation. - Ensuring platform stability, uptime, and regulatory compliance. People & Culture: - Recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams in engineering, product, data, QA, and design. - Fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, velocity, and experimentation. - Setting OKRs and driving execution with an agile mindset. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborating closely with founders, content, sales, and marketing teams to align product strategies with business objectives. - Engaging with external tech vendors and key strategic partners. Key Success Metrics: - Monitoring DAU/MAU growth & engagement. - Tracking retention & completion rates. - Managing funnel conversion to paid subscriptions. - Ensuring timely product releases. - Monitoring platform uptime & system scalability. - Tracking hiring & team productivity metrics. Qualifications & Background: - Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Engineering. - Engineering background from reputable institutions (IITs/NITs/NSIT/BITS Pilani). - MBA is a plus, particularly from IIM A/B/C or ISB (not mandatory). - Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management. - Demonstrated experience in scaling B2C digital products in both app and web ecosystems. - Over 10 years of overall experience, with recent leadership roles at CPO, CTO, or CPTO levels. - Strong analytical and data-driven mindset. - Experience in EdTech, consumer internet, or mobile-first tech products is highly desirable.
