The Chief Marketing Officer will lead the global marketing vision for Academia by Serosoft, driving brand authority, demand generation, product positioning, and growth across international markets. The role requires a seasoned marketing leader with strategic acumen, strong execution discipline, and the ability to manage diverse teams across digital, brand, content, and product marketing functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the global marketing strategy for brand growth, lead generation, and international expansion.
  • Drive brand positioning and storytelling for Academia ERP to strengthen visibility across digital platforms, industry events, and global markets.
  • Lead performance marketing initiatives across SEO, SEM, paid campaigns, social media, and marketing automation to deliver measurable ROI.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Leadership to create targeted product marketing narratives, feature-led campaigns, and competitive differentiation.
  • Own the global demand-generation engine through ABM strategies, digital funnels, events, webinars, and partner marketing programs.
  • Oversee content strategy including case studies, whitepapers, blogs, product decks, corporate presentations, and sales enablement materials.
  • Manage and elevate the brand experience across all touchpoints including website, social media, creatives, PR, corporate communications, and video production.
  • Build and strengthen the global marketing team, ensuring capability development, goal alignment, and high performance.
  • Lead market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and customer insights to guide product innovation and strategic decision-making.
  • Plan and manage the annual marketing budget ensuring optimal deployment and outcome-driven spending.
  • Represent marketing in leadership discussions, ensuring alignment on targets, product launches, GTM plans, and global campaigns.
  • Drive presence at international conferences and events, ensuring strong representation, high-quality marketing assets, and lead-generation outcomes.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making through dashboards, analytics, marketing KPIs, and performance tracking.


Education & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or related field from a reputed institute (Premier institutes preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, Enterprise Software, EdTech, or ERP marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or Head of Marketing role.
  • Experience managing global markets, multi-region marketing teams, and scaling brand presence internationally is highly desirable.

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into powerful marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, performance-led campaigns, SEO/SEM, and analytics.
  • Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of product marketing, GTM strategies, and customer journeys.
  • Ability to build, mentor, and lead cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and leadership presence.
  • High proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, dashboards, and digital analytics.
  • Strong project and budget management skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
