Role Summary:

Business Systems Analyst


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in

    reviewing and validating functional specifications

    covering finance modules including

    Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Payroll Accounting, and Chart of Accounts structure

    .
  • Collaborate with functional leads to

    design, document, and review business process flows

    for

    Procurement (P2P), Sales Order Processing (O2C), HR, Warehouse Management

    , and

    Salesforce-to-SAP integrations

    .
  • Participate in

    user acceptance testing (UAT)

    — reviewing test plans, executing test scenarios, tracking defects, and validating outcomes.
  • Support

    data migration activities

    , including source-to-target mapping, data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation for key master and transactional data.
  • Ensure

    quality assurance

    across all functional workstreams by validating system configuration, workflow, and business logic against approved requirements.
  • Work closely with technical and functional consultants to

    review integration points and data interfaces

    across SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Assist the ERP Project Manager in

    project documentation, milestone tracking, risk management, and stakeholder reporting

    .
  • Coordinate with

    global and local process owners

    to ensure alignment, issue resolution, and smooth cutover readiness.
  • Participate in workshops and system demonstrations to gather user feedback and refine requirements.
  • Support

    post-implementation activities

    , including user training, process documentation, and hypercare support.


Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of

    ERP systems

    (SAP preferred) and cross-functional business processes.
  • Working knowledge of

    Finance and Accounting

    , including

    Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, and Payroll Books

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Procurement (P2P)

    and

    Sales Order (O2C)

    processes — requisition to payment, quotation, purchase order, sales quotation, order creation, fulfillment, and invoicing.
  • Total 6-8 years of IT applications experience, with 1 -2 ERP implementation.
  • Understanding of

    Warehouse Management

    ,

    HR

    , and

    CRM (Salesforce)

    integration scenarios.
  • Experience in

    designing or reviewing functional specifications

    ,

    data mapping

    , and

    system integration documentation

    .
  • Strong grasp of

    UAT processes, test plan design, and QA methodologies

    .
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination across business and IT teams.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

    , and project tools such as

    ServiceNow

    .


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Computer Science, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management

    .
  • Experience in

    SAP S/4HANA implementation

    or other major ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of

    integration frameworks

    (API, middleware, data exchange mechanisms).
  • Certifications in

    SAP Functional Modules (FI, MM, SD, HR)

    or

    Project Management (PMP, Prince2)

    are an advantage.
