Job Description

Position: Business Strategy & Excellence Support

Designation: Deputy Manager – Manager

Function: Institutional Sales

Place: Guwahati, Assam

Credentials: B.Tech. / MBA

Responsibilities:

•To drive business strategy formulation, sales excellence initiatives, and robust MIS & analytics for the Institutional Sales vertical, enabling data-driven decision-making, performance optimization, process standardization, and sustainable growth for the region.

•Support the Zonal Institutional Sales Head in operating plan, long-term strategy, and growth roadmap formulation

•Conduct market, competitor, and segment analysis (infra, government, PSU, large private projects).

•Identify new business opportunities, white spaces, and key account expansion opportunities.

•Track strategy execution vs plan and highlight risks and corrective actions.

•Work closely with sales team to improve conversion ratios, win rates, and project pipeline.

•Responsible to prepare and present end-to-end MIS for Institutional Sales – daily, weekly, monthly dashboards

•Track volumes, revenue, realization, contribution margins, pipeline, project funnel, and customer performance.

•Generate actionable insights for leadership to support pricing, credit, logistics, and capacity allocation decisions.

•Track KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics for sales team and customer accounts.

•Support audit and compliance requirements related to pricing, contracts, and approvals.

•Support ZSH in coordination with Finance (pricing, margins, credit, profitability), Logistics (dispatch planning, project prioritization), Technical Services (project approvals, technical support alignment) and Marketing (institutional branding initiatives and visibility)
