Job Profile – Business Manager – Domestic Sales

revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and proposing

tailored enterprise communication solutions within the domestic market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development Sales: Identify, target, and acquire new enterprise clients across various sectors (e.g., BFSI, e-commerce, logistics, healthcare, retail etc.) for messaging solutions. This includes lead generation through cold calls, emails, and networking.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders (including CXOs, procurement heads, etc.) to ensure satisfaction, retention, and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Solution Selling: Understand client requirements and collaborate with technical and product teams to prepare customized proposals and present tailored solutions (covering features across SMS, WhatsApp Business API, RCS, etc.).
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. This involves market analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and close commercial deals and contracts within approved margins.
  • Pipeline Management & Reporting: Manage the sales pipeline, track performance metrics, and provide regular, accurate sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and support teams to align strategies and ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Typically requires 3-7+ years of B2B sales experience, with a significant portion in selling CPaaS, telecom, SaaS, or enterprise communication solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing high-value deals.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is often a plus.


Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Deep understanding of the domestic CPaaS market dynamics, including SMS, WhatsApp Business, and RCS messaging channels.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.


Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is typically required; Master's degree can be preferred.
