Job Summary

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving growth by identifying, attracting, and acquiring new clients. This role focuses on lead generation, outreach, and converting prospects into long-term customers. You'll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support revenue targets and expand the client base.

Key Responsibilities

🔍 Lead Generation & Research
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through market research, cold outreach, networking, and prospecting tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo).
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of high-quality leads.
  • Use CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage contacts and track interactions.
🤝 Client Acquisition
  • Initiate contact with prospects via cold calls, cold emails, and social outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives or senior sales staff.
  • Nurture leads through the sales funnel until they are ready to convert.
📊 Strategy & Reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align on targeting strategies.
  • Monitor lead performance, campaign effectiveness, and conversion rates.
  • Report regularly on KPIs like number of leads generated, conversion rates, and opportunities created.

✅ Must-Have:
