Job Title: Business Development (BD) Manager Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Business Head About Praan Praan is an organisation dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing support services to individuals and communities across India. Our mission is to create a society where mental health is prioritised, stigma is eliminated, and everyone has access to quality mental health care. We focus on impactful initiatives through strategic partnerships, community outreach, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) engagements. We are seeking a Business Development (BD) Manager to drive growth, develop partnerships, and strengthen our CSR and outreach initiatives. Role Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building partnerships, and driving funding initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CSR Partnerships, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Fundraising Strategies, and Outreach Programs to enhance the organisation's impact. Identifying new business opportunities within the scope of the organisation's programs and services. Building and managing relationships by identifying and developing strategic partnerships with corporates, philanthropic foundations, NGOs, government bodies, PSUs, and other stakeholders. Developing growth strategies by creating and executing strategic plans to achieve sales and business growth. Pitching and proposal development by preparing tailored pitches, presentation decks, and proposals. Lead negotiations and close deals with clients or partners. Sales enablement and support: Work closely with marketing teams to convert leads into clients. Help create marketing materials, sales decks, and outreach campaigns. Reporting and performance tracking: Maintain CRM systems and track KPIs like conversion rates and revenue. Report on pipeline status, deal progress, and strategic insights. Client onboarding and retention: Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations or account management. Maintain long-term relationships to foster repeat business and referrals. Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with product, finance, legal, and operations to ensure client needs are met. Provide feedback to teams on market demands and customer requirements. Outreach program management: Develop and implement outreach programs to expand the organisation's reach. Work closely with internal teams to create awareness campaigns and community engagement activities. Any other tasks as per the evolving nature of the organisation’s journey. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field. 3 to 5 years of experience in business development roles. Strong network in the CSR, NGO, and social impact sectors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to strategise and execute high-impact outreach and fundraising initiatives. Knowledge of grant writing, proposal development, and corporate partnerships. Strong project management and organisational skills. Passion for social impact and community development. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, and Canva. Show more Show less
