Position: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with procurement heads, purchase departments, and key decision-makers
• Lead and manage the business development/field team to achieve sales and growth targets
• Drive institutional sales, including quotations, rate contracts, tender submissions, and vendor registrations
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to create growth strategies
• Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, and follow-ups for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Coordinate internally with supply, operations, and inventory teams for smooth execution
• Prepare business forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans
• Represent the company at hospital meetings, vendor conferences, and industry interactions

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
• 3–7 years of experience in Business Development, Pharmaceutical Sales, or Healthcare Supply
• Strong understanding of institutional sales processes, tenders, and hospital procurement
• Proven ability to generate business leads and close high-value deals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Leadership qualities with experience managing field or BD teams
• Ability to travel locally and work in a dynamic, target-driven environment
