Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)Department: Sales & Partnerships Location: Pan India (Starting from Assigned Region) Reporting To: ABM / BM / ZM CTC: ₹3 LPA (Split into Fixed & Performance-based components) Job Purpose:To drive sales growth by onboarding merchants, generating revenue through DBNPE products and services, and managing a local team to increase market penetration in the assigned area. Key Responsibilities:Merchant & Distributor Onboarding Identify, approach, and onboard potential merchants and distributors. Explain DBNPE product offerings and support them in setup and registration. Sales & Revenue Generation Generate monthly revenue from merchant transactions (AEPS, loans, bill payments, etc.). Meet individual and team sales targets. Team Hiring & Management Hire and manage Field Level Executives (FLEs). Train the team on DBNPE services and sales techniques. Monitor performance and provide ongoing support. CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate field visit reports and activity logs via CRM. Share daily, weekly, and monthly performance updates with seniors. Customer Support & Retention Act as a point of contact for merchant queries. Resolve onboarding and transaction issues with support teams. Compliance & Conduct Follow DBNPE's code of conduct, maintain professional behavior, dress code, and punctuality. Attend all scheduled meetings and trainings. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Minimum 130 visits/month Minimum 4 successful logins/month Minimum 30% revenue target achievement for variable pay eligibility Timely CRM updates and reporting Retention and performance of onboarded merchants and team members Eligibility Criteria:Minimum 1–3 years of experience in field sales, BFSI, fintech, or channel development Basic understanding of digital financial services Strong communication, negotiation & team management skills Proficient with smartphones, CRM, and online tools Additional Conditions:If BDM leaves DBNPE within 6 months, and DBNPE has invested in training/resources, they are liable for breach as per company policy. Fixed CTC eligibility depends on performance metrics like attendance, visits, reporting, and code of conduct.
