As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the frontline of growing Cityscope’s partner ecosystem—onboarding local businesses, building meaningful relationships, and driving our vision of creating a hyperlocal digital network.


Responsibilities

• Identify & Acquire: Source and onboard new businesses, creators, and partners across categories (experiences, services, activities).

• Lead Generation: Research, prospect, and generate leads across different sectors to expand Cityscope’s marketplace.

• Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with prospects, identify their needs and motivations, and tailor solutions that fit.

• Pitching & Negotiation: Present Cityscope’s business deck, terms of service, and negotiate win-win agreements.

• Follow-ups & Conversions: Drive consistent follow-ups to close deals and meet onboarding targets.

• Partnership Strategy: Develop strategies to capture local opportunities and support long-term partner success.

• Customer Success: Ensure ongoing partner satisfaction by nurturing relationships and helping them grow on the platform.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and content teams to ideate campaigns and showcase partner stories.

• Performance: While this isn’t a traditional “sales job,” you will have measurable targets tied to partner onboarding and engagement.

Requirements

• Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or sales (preferably in tech, media, hospitality, or marketplaces).

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to pitch and present confidently.

• A knack for relationship-building and understanding client needs deeply.

• Entrepreneurial spirit—resourceful, creative, and ready to roll up your sleeves.

• Team player who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

• Passion for cities, culture, and empowering local businesses.
