We're at an inflection point and need an aggressive, results-driven BDE to help us scale our client acquisition.
The Role
hunter role
- Building pipeline through outbound prospecting (Apollo.io, LinkedIn, cold email)
- Running discovery calls and qualifying prospects
- Creating proposals and negotiating deals
- Closing $50K-$150K in monthly sales within 90 days

What You'll Do
Sales Process Ownership (End-to-End):
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation (40% of time)
- Use Apollo.io to identify 100+ qualified prospects weekly
- Build targeted lists (funded startups, companies hiring mobile devs, web-first companies ready for mobile)
- Execute multi-channel outreach (cold email, LinkedIn, phone)
- Maintain 50+ touchpoints per day
2. Qualification & Discovery (30% of time)
- Conduct 5-10 discovery calls weekly
- Qualify based on budget, timeline, decision-making authority
- Understand technical requirements and scope projects
- Position AUL as the best-fit solution
3. Proposal & Closing (20% of time)
- Create customized proposals ($10K-$50K project size)
- Handle objections and negotiate terms
- Close deals with 25-30% win rate (from proposal stage)
- Manage contracts and handoff to delivery team
4. Pipeline Management & Reporting (10% of time)
- Maintain HubSpot CRM with accurate pipeline data
- Weekly forecast and pipeline reviews with founders
- Track KPIs and optimize conversion rates
- Document wins/losses for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- 1-3 years B2B sales experience(tech services, SaaS, or agency sales preferred)
- Proven track recordclosing deals ($100K+ annual sales)
- International client experience(US, UK, Australia, Europe)
- Lead generation expertise(Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold email)
- CRM proficiency(HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
- Fluent English(written and verbal - you'll speak with C-level executives)
- Technical aptitude(understand mobile app development, or ability to learn quickly)
- Self-motivated(thrive in remote, autonomous environment)
Preferred:
- Experience selling mobile app development or custom software services
- Familiarity with cold email tools (Instantly, Lemlist, Smartlead)
- Understanding of startup funding stages (Seed, Series A/B/C)
- Network in startup/tech ecosystem
- Experience with FinTech, HealthTech, or E-commerce verticals
