Billing & Dispatch Executive

Job Title: Billing Executive Location: Pune Industry: Manufacturing (Metal Industry) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Billing Executive is responsible for overseeing the complete billing process within a manufacturing setup. This role ensures accurate invoice generation, GST compliance, e-way bill management, and coordination with logistics and sales teams. The ideal candidate must have a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure smooth financial operations. ⛔ CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN THE METAL INDUSTRY⛔ (Applications without relevant industry experience will not be considered) Key Responsibilities: Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, delivery challans, and agreements. E-Way Bill Management: Generate and manage e-way bills in compliance with GST regulations. Transport Billing Coordination: Verify freight charges and coordinate with logistics for transport-related invoicing. Payment Follow-Up: Track outstanding payments, send reminders, and assist the sales team with collections. Data Verification: Ensure billing data accuracy by cross-verifying with production and dispatch records. Record Maintenance: Maintain billing records in ERP systems for easy retrieval and audit readiness. Inter-Department Coordination: Liaise with production, dispatch, and sales for timely and accurate billing. Customer Interaction: Respond to client queries and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently. Reporting: Generate regular billing reports and assist during financial audits. Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in billing/accounting, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Experience in the metal industry is mandatory. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally) and MS Excel. Sound understanding of GST rules and e-way bill generation. Excellent time-management, organization, and communication skills (English and Marathi/Hindi). Preferred Skills: Knowledge of inventory and production workflows. Experience analyzing billing data and identifying discrepancies. Familiarity with digital billing and online payment systems. Working Conditions: Full-time, based in Pune. Standard working hours with occasional extended hours during closings or audits.
