Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive who can generate and close business for both: ZestNexus SaaS Products (HRMS, Payroll, etc.) IT Services (web development, mobile apps, custom software, cloud & automation solutions) This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Lead Generation Identify, qualify, and close leads for SaaS products and IT services.
- Generate new business via cold outreach, inbound leads, networking, partnerships, and referrals.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Conduct product demos and solution presentations to clients.
- Client Engagement Understand client needs and propose the right mix of SaaS or custom IT solutions.
- Prepare proposals, pricing estimates, and contracts.
- Negotiate and close deals while maintaining healthy margins.
- Develop long-term client relationships and upsell services.
- Coordination & Delivery Support Work closely with technical and product teams to scope requirements accurately.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects from sales to delivery teams.
- Support post-sale client success and identify expansion opportunities.
- Market Research & Growth Research industry trends, competitors, and target sectors.
- Suggest improvements to sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Represent ZestNexus at client meetings, startup events, and networking forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in IT services sales, SaaS sales, or B2B business development
Understanding of:
- Web/mobile development SaaS platforms ERP/HRMS or workflow tools (preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling, demos, and client meetings.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Basic understanding of project timelines, scope, and pricing.
- Self-driven with a target-oriented mindset.
Good To Have
- Experience selling to startups, SMEs, or enterprises.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales automation tools.
- Exposure to software development processes (Agile/SDLC).
- Ability to work independently and build processes from scratch.
