• Qualification: CMA (Cost & Management Accountant)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Costing, Financial Planning, or Manufacturing Finance.
• Perform product costing and ensure cost accuracy across all manufacturing stages.
• Establish and maintain Activity-Based Costing (ABC) models for improved cost transparency.
• Update and maintain standard costs in the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Monitor, analyse, and report standard vs. actual costs, highlighting deviations and root causes.
• Assist in new product costing, cost impact analysis, and cost simulations.
• Conduct regular cost audits for all production units and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Identify and communicate gaps in cost audits and drive corrective actions to ensure closure.
• Validate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) during month-end closing activities.
• Support statutory/internal audits with accurate cost-related data and documentation.
• Perform inventory audits at RM, WIP, and FG stages.
• Analyse inventory valuation and monitor inventory carrying costs.
• Ensure accurate stock reporting in coordination with Stores, Production & Planning teams.
• Support implementation of inventory optimization initiatives to reduce non-moving/slow-moving inventory.
• Perform real-time data analysis to identify cost trends and operational inefficiencies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost variance reports for management review.
• Assist in preparation of cost budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.
• Drive improvement in cost reporting systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Procurement teams to gather cost inputs.
• Support process improvement projects related to cost reduction, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence.
• Provide cost insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Support development of costing policies, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Participate in implementation or enhancement of ERP systems for costing modules.
• Monitor and analyse overheads, machine-hour rates, and labour efficiency.
• Assist with benchmarking against industry cost standards.
• Contribute to CAPEX and OPEX analysis, ensuring alignment with budgets.
• Strong knowledge of costing principles, manufacturing processes, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
