Quickbase Developer

Key Responsibilities

1. Quickbase Application Development

• Build, customize, and maintain Quickbase applications.
• Create tables, relationships, forms, reports, and dashboards.
• Optimize application structure for performance and scalability.

2. Workflow Automation Using Pipelines

• Develop advanced Pipelines using triggers, actions, loops, and conditional logic.
• Automate multi-step business processes and cross-application workflows.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Pipeline performance and reliability.

3. API Integration & Scripting

• Use RESTful APIs to integrate Quickbase with external systems (CRM, ERP, Finance, HR, custom apps).
• Build automated solutions for data synchronization, imports/exports, and event-driven integrations.
• Write custom scripts using Python/Node.js/JavaScript to extend Quickbase functionality.

4. Data Management & Business Logic

• Implement complex formulas, relationships, and validation rules.
• Create automated notifications, approvals, and scheduled tasks.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and audit readiness.

5. Troubleshooting & System Maintenance

• Diagnose issues with Pipelines, integrations, and application workflows.
• Improve app performance, user experience, and backend automation reliability.
• Monitor logs, handle errors, and ensure smooth system operations.

6. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical documentation, user training, and ongoing app support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with

  Quickbase development

  .
• Strong experience in

  Pipelines

  and building automated workflows.
• Solid knowledge of

  Quickbase REST APIs

  and integration techniques.
• Experience with

  JSON, XML, webhooks, and third-party API tools

  .
• Proficiency in

  scripting languages

  (Python, JavaScript, or Node.js).
• Strong understanding of database design and relational models.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
