Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager HR & Administration to lead the HR function for our organization from the Head Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR and administrative oversight of 8 manufacturing units, working closely with Plant HR teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across locations. Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Operations Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the companys business goals. Drive workforce planning and talent acquisition for HO and plant-level positions. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and HRMS data management. Oversee Performance Management System (PMS) implementation, appraisal cycles, and goal alignment. Identify training needs and lead Training & Development programs across locations. Monitor HR KPIs, analytics, and employee engagement metrics. Administration & Compliance Supervise administrative functions across plants including housekeeping, transport, security, and office infrastructure. Ensure adherence to all legal and statutory norms related to labor laws, contract labor (CLRA), and factory administration. Oversee efficient handling of audits, inspections, and government liaison work. Plant HR Oversight Lead, mentor, and coordinate with Plant HR teams to ensure policy uniformity, timely issue resolution, and legal compliance. Act as a central point for escalating critical IR/HR issues from manufacturing sites. Regular review of manpower planning, absenteeism trends, and attrition at plant level. Position Title: Plant Head Location: Srikalahasti (Plant-based) Industry: B2B Manufacturing (Plastics Injection/Compression Molding, Preform PET/Stage One PET) Qualification: Technical Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Experience: 15-20 years (at least 5 Years in a similar role) in a manufacturing setup WE PREFER IMMEDIATE JOINERS Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead our manufacturing operations at Srikalahasti. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end plant functions, with a particular focus on Preform PET/Stage One PET molding , Injection and Compression molding operations using Husky, ASB, and Sacmi CCM machines , and overseeing production, maintenance, quality, compliance, logistics, and workforce development. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker who can drive operational excellence, ensure GMP and audit compliances, and manage both plant utilities and external stakeholder liaisons. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant Operations & Production Management Lead daily plant operations, focusing on PET molding using Husky , ASB , and Sacmi CCM machines. Ensure maximum utilization of equipment and resources to meet production targets with high-quality standards. Drive cost-efficiency by improving process flexibility and minimizing downtime and rejections. Maintain FIFO in Raw Materials (RM) and Finished Goods (FG), ensuring consistent inventory control. Target and maintain Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) at 85% and above. 2. Preform PET / Stage One PET & Molding Technologies Oversee end-to-end PET preform production and compression molding cycles. Optimize performance of Husky (injection molding) , ASB (stretch blow molding) , and Sacmi CCM (compression molding) machines. Implement preventive maintenance and troubleshooting strategies specific to these machines. Optimize resin usage, reduce scrap and wastage, and ensure consistent product quality. 3. Maintenance and Utility Management Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance for all machinery including molding lines and plant equipment. Maintain and manage all essential utilities such as chillers, air handling units (AHUs), transformers, power consumption systems , and compressed air systems . Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, etc.) and implement cost-saving measures. Maintain spare parts stock at Minimum Quantity Levels (MQL) to avoid delays in operations. 4. Logistics and Dispatch Management Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics , including receipt of raw materials and dispatch of finished goods. Coordinate with transporters, warehouse teams, and dispatch personnel to ensure timely delivery of materials. Ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation of stock transfers, gate entries, and dispatch reports. Optimize logistics costs while maintaining on-time and damage-free deliveries. Liaise with HO logistics or SCM teams to streamline inter-plant and customer-specific dispatches. Implement best practices in packaging, loading, unloading , and ensure adherence to safety norms during logistics operations. 5. Quality, GMP & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and support readiness for internal and external audits . Enforce safety standards and implement corrective actions based on audit findings. Reduce rejection rates and drive continuous improvement initiatives for process quality and output consistency. 6. Manpower & Team Leadership Build, develop, and motivate plant teams to foster productivity and accountability. Define and monitor KRAs/KPIs for all plant employees and conduct regular performance evaluations. Conduct skill development and training programs focused on PET technologies and machine-specific handling. Ensure smooth coordination with HR/Admin on workforce grievances, labor compliance, and time-bound actions. 7. Local Liaisoning & Administration Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies to ensure timely permissions, compliance, and effective plant-community relations. Support general administration including canteen, housekeeping, and statutory facilities for plant staff. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports on: Production output (PET, molding lines) Preventive Maintenance and breakdown Utility usage and cost trends Logistics and dispatch status Inventory and materials consumption Rejection/wastage and customer complaints Manpower deployment and efficiency Required Skills & Competencies: Technical Mastery: Hands-on expertise in operating and managing Husky, ASB, and Sacmi CCM machines . Logistics Acumen: Practical understanding of plant logistics, inventory movement, dispatch operations, and cost control. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire plant teams, drive accountability, and foster a safe and efficient work culture. Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into performance improvement. Compliance-Oriented: Sound knowledge of GMP, ISO, safety, and other regulatory standards. Communication: Effective communicator in English and local language, with strong interpersonal skills. Digital Proficiency: Comfortable with ERP platforms , production tracking systems, and MS Excel .
