Develop and implement innovative methods, ideas and solutions. Test and trials solve issues during development and during mass production. Develop engineering mockup prototypes and before implementing hard solutions. Debug issues in these areas in order to produce a product that meets the product test plan, investigate issues and offer solutions. Knowledge of stage-gate development processes, quality assurance/compliance, and production planning. Process engineering. Proficient in tool building and tool manufacturing processes, development of Mech layout, Tool design, tool cost estimation, mold manufacturing processes, regulations and standards. Successful launch of tool qualification/commissioning. Design for manufacturing (DFM) and Molding process, proficient in Insert Molding, Co-Molding, easily deforming, long molding cycle time, frequent breakdown maintenance on molds. Review engineering pilot samples on molding issues. Debug issues in these areas in order to produce a product that meets the product test plan and design / marketing goals for the item. Resolving molding issues. - shrinkage, deformation, cycle time, etc. Debugging new mold tools, establishing molding process parameters. Evaluate/create design of molded components and evolve Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis. Coordinate with tooling vendor to review mold testing report beforehand tooling arrival on site, select proper size molding machine and auxiliary equipment for preparation of molding pilot. Calibrate molding parameters and tune up molding machinery for optimum molded part quality and efficiency Qualifications: Diploma or bachelors degree in engineering or related field Minimum of 3 to 5 + years of experience in New Product Development Strong technical expertise in product design, development, and testing Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience with project management tools and methodologies Knowledge in molding, Spray painting, pad printing & product assembly

Role & responsibilities Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding tools (2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner systems, etc.). Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and execute corrective actions. Carry out routine inspection, polishing, and reconditioning of moulds. Handle tool fitting, assembling/disassembling, and bench work as required. Maintain records of tool history, maintenance schedules, and spares usage. Coordinate with the production and quality teams for tool performance feedback. Ensure minimum downtime by proactively identifying tool-related issues. Work on improving tool life and performance through engineering changes. Maintain 5S and safety practices within the tool room and maintenance areas.
